Privacy Policy

The extension creates UTM-tagged campaign links locally. It has no backend, account, analytics, advertising, or external data requests.

Information processed

The extension processes the following information on the user's device:

• the URL of the active regular web page after the user opens the extension, or another URL entered by the user;
• campaign source, medium, name, and optional term and content values entered in the popup;
• user-created preset names plus source and medium values saved in local extension storage.

How the information is used

The current URL and campaign values are used only to generate the UTM link requested by the user. Copying happens only after the user activates the copy action. The information is not used for advertising, profiling, analytics, or any unrelated purpose.

Storage and deletion

Only preset names plus source and medium values are saved through chrome.storage.local. Current URLs, manually entered URLs, campaign names, optional term and content values, and generated links are not saved by the extension.

A user can delete an individual preset inside the extension. Removing the extension removes its local extension storage according to the browser's normal behavior.

Sharing and transmission

The extension does not transmit, sell, or share browsing activity, campaign values, generated links, or preset data with the developer or third parties. No person can access this information through the extension.

Browser permissions

• activeTab reads the active page URL only after the user opens the extension. It does not provide background access to all tabs or all websites.
• storage saves only user-created preset names plus source and medium values locally.

Limited use

Any data handled by the extension is used only to provide its single user-facing purpose: creating and copying UTM-tagged campaign links. The data is not transferred for advertising, sold, or made available for human review.

Changes to this policy

This policy will be reviewed whenever the extension's permissions, storage, network behavior, or product scope changes. A new version will identify its update date and the extension version it covers.
